ScoopUp

Text message (SMS) terms

Pet waste removal companies use ScoopUp to run their office. When you give one of those companies your mobile number and agree to texts, the messages described here are sent on that company's behalf through ScoopUp. Last updated September 18, 2026.

What you will receive

Service messages about your own account only, from the company you hired:

  • Your quote and a link to book your first cleanup, after you ask for a price.
  • A heads-up when your technician is on the way, and a note when your yard is done.
  • Invoices, receipts and payment reminders.
  • Schedule changes, such as a weather skip, and a one-time link to sign in to your client portal.

No marketing lists are sold or shared, and your number is never used for anything unrelated to your service.

How you opted in

You agreed by checking the consent box on the company's quote form or booking page, by asking for texts in your client portal, or by telling the office you would like texts. The office keeps a record of when you agreed.

Message frequency

Varies with your service. A weekly client typically receives two to four texts per visit week. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and getting help

  • Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one confirmation text and nothing further. The company can still reach you by email or phone.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact the company directly using the phone number or email on your invoice or quote.
  • You can also change your notification preferences at any time in your client portal.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include all major U.S. carriers.
